2009 FINANCIAL AID NIGHT
Tuesday, December 8, 7:00 PM
On Tuesday, December 8, a representative of EducationQuest will conduct a financial aid program that explain the types of financial aid, how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), how colleges award financial aid, and the student loan process.  The program will be held in the East High cafeteria. 

Another way to learn about paying for college is by viewing the Guide to College Funding video at EducationQuest.org. The video features a family going through the financial aid process. To learn about completing the FAFSA, view The FAFSA Made Easy.

DEADLINE FOR SECOND SEMESTER CHANGES: Friday, January 15, 2010 by 3:00 PM

Chat with a tutor through instant messaging from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., seven days a week for grades 3-12 in the areas of math, English, science and social studies. LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION
Some applications for admission and scholarship applications require letters of recommendation.  Be sure you give the writers at least 2 weeks notice and provide them with the Student Information Sheet (available in the Counseling Center) to help them write a more personal letter.  Any application with a January 1 deadline must be in the hands of the counselor no later than Monday, November 30, 2009.
