Hearst Foundation Scholarship Program

U.S. Senate Youth Program –

Administered by the Nebraska Department of Education

104 - $5000 and a week in Washington, D.C. all expenses paid.

1) Senior/Junior provided you have NOT previously been a delegate to the program and are currently serving in an ELECTED capacity in any one of the following student government, civic or educational organizations: a) Student body president, vp, secretary or treasurer, b) Class president, VP, secretary or treasurer, c) Student Council representative, d) Student representative to district, regional or State-level civic or educational organization. 2) You must be a permanent resident of the USA and living with a parent/guardian in Lincoln. 3) Take a qualifying exam.

09/09/09 – Turn in to Ms. Baker on or before this date.

Pick up an application in the Counseling Center.

You will be notified later of the date of the qualifying exam.
