Hey Spartan Soccer Fans!

Both the girls and boys soccer teams will be playing this week in the State Soccer Tournament at Creighton University's stadium in Omaha. On Wednesday, the girls will play Omaha Westside @ 4:00 pm. Students going to the game are asked to stay in school through 6th period and must be excused by a parent if they will miss any classes. On Thursday the boys team will play Columbus @ 1 pm. Students are asked to stay in school through 4th period and be excused with parent permission. Students who will be attending the games are asked to communicate with teachers in advance of their absence in order to find out what work needs to be done for the class.

Most importantly, we ask you all to drive safely to the games and behave appropriately. This is a huge honor to have both teams representing East High. Please remember that as fans, you too are representing East. Do so with class.

Fund-A-Need provides LPS teachers with an opportunity to submit a proposal, or "need," for enhancing curriculum. Last school year over $25,000 in needs were met, but over $100,000 in requests were made. This year we hope to increase those numbers. Please consider making a donation through the Foundation Office.

Please contact the webmaster or East High Main Office for problems.
