Bio

Graduated from Sutherland High School, Kearney State with an Associate Degree in Business, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Business Education. She worked as a secretary at UNL and a Marketing Coordinator at AGNET (a computer time-sharing network) before beginning her teaching career. As well as teaching for 16 years, she has coached volleyball and been a FBLA Advisor.

She and her husband have two children and three dogs. They spend many evenings/weekends at sporting or school events supporting their children, the students of East and UNL programs. She also enjoys reading, fixing up houses, gardening, cooking and quality family time.
