Beginning June 15, students at all six LPS high schools may begin in person strength and conditioning programs. Lincoln Public Schools remains concerned about the health and safety of all students and staff members. Lincoln Public Schools follows cleaning and disinfecting protocols put into place and works hard to provide a safe environment for staff and students. However, there is no guarantee that any surface, equipment or atmosphere is completely free from any germs, virus or other condition. Therefore, any person who voluntarily chooses to use our facilities does so at their own risk. As a result, a parent or guardian who wishes to allow their child to participate, must sign the “LPS Facility Use Waiver, Release and Assumption of Risk” form, acknowledging the risks associated with and the willingness to follow all physical distancing and safety requirements established by local health officials.

Please remember our summer strength and conditioning training sessions along with our sport specific skill training sessions are all voluntary. Each student-athlete must have a signed parent waiver before they will be able to workout at LPS facilities. We ask that you please complete this waiver as soon as possible to help us to be able to organize students into smaller cohort training groups.
