Student Schedules will be viewable on 7/20/26 in StudentVUE and ParentVUE, once they are made available by Computing Services.
SCHEDULE CHANGES are by APPOINTMENT ONLY via ZOOM, PHONE or IN-PERSON

Before making an appointment: Keep in mind that schedule change options ARE VERY LIMITED and one move may alter an entire schedule. The class availability is constantly changing, therefore, set your appointment when it is convenient for you and not worry that earlier is better, as that is not always the case. We will continue to follow the administrative directive that students MUST follow their assigned lunch period.
To make an appointment with YOUR counselor, follow the steps below:
1. TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT click on your alpha counselor’s name.
2.WHEN PROMPTED, LOG IN USING YOUR LPS STUDENT EMAIL (studentID#@class.lps.org) and password.
3.WHEN THE CALENDAR OPENS, the following message will appear. Click on the button with your counselor’s name and alpha.(Li-Od Carothers) to make an appointment.
4.CLICK ON THE DESIRED DATE AND TIME you would like to meet withyour counselor. YOU WILL NEED TO INDICATE YOUR MEETING PREFERENCE BY ADDINGONE OF THE FOLLOWING TO YOUR LAST NAME.
Examples:
a.(Student’s) Last Name: ZOOM
b.(Student’s) Last Name: IN-PERSON
c.(Student’s) Last Name: PHONE XXX-XXX-XXXX (No international calls). Your counselor will contact you with the number youprovide.
Note: If you are outside of Lincoln, NE and using the online system. Make sure your device is set in CENTRAL STANDARD TIME ZONE when appointment is scheduled so that it will reflect the correct time when in Lincoln, NE.
5.CLICK “BOOK” to reserve the appointment. If the appointment slot is reserved before you hit BOOK, your computer will freeze orlock up and your request WILL NOT save and you WILL NOT receive a confirmation. You will need to refresh the calendar and try foranother appointment time.
6.IF YOUR REQUEST IS SUCCESSFUL, you will receive an “Appointment Invitation” in your LPS student email (xxxxxx@class.lps.org). Youdo not have to accept the appointment in your email because once you receive the email, you know your appointment is reserved. Ifyou do accept the appointment, it will be added to your gmail calendar.
7.KEEP THIS EMAIL: It contains your counselor’s Zoom address/link. You will need this to join your Zoom appointment. There will be noother reminder about this appointment, so please put it on your personal calendar.
8.TO CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT, please call 402-436-1302, opt #3 so we can reopen that time slot and you can use the systemagain to set a new appointment.

**Note-Students will not be able to Zoom from their Chromebooks. You must Zoom from an alternate device.

All appointments are 15 minutes. Please MAKE ONLY ONE APPOINTMENT so we can serve as many students as possible. This time is for schedule changes only, if you want to meet with your counselor regarding other planning, contact him/her after August 27.
ONCE SCHOOL BEGINS:
August 13: Counselors will only see students who have a “SEE COUNSELOR”, “ERRORS” or “MISSING COURSES” on their schedule on a WALK-IN BASIS.
August 14, 17-21: Students can request last minute schedule changes by appointment only. Students go to their Graduating Class Google Classroom > Classwork Tab > Topic: Appointment Request to request an appointment time during school hours.
Starting August 24, all schedule changes require signed parent permission and administrative approval.
